Mt.Asahidake in Hokkaido. 旭岳、 大雪山国立公園。

We went to Hokkaido for 3 days.
We wen t o 5th station of Mt.Asahidake by cable car.


Mt.Asahidake.


We walked around this area for about one and half hours.


This mountain is a active volcano, vomiting a deal of smoke.


The view from Asahikawa city.


From Tyubetu big bridge.


From Asahidake hot spring area.

We got on this cable car.

We could see various kind of flowers here.

Ezo-Kozakura.


Ezo-Tugazakura.


Chisima-Kinbaiso.


Meakan-Kinbai.


Miyama-Kinbai.


Kibana-Shakunage.


Syoujoubakama.

  2. This post is interesting to see the Mt.Asahidake. and all the pretty flowers. This is exciting to be able to see an alive volcano spewing out some smoke. I hope to visit Hokkaido again as it is too big to cover all the places in one trip. I hope to see this Mt.Asahidake and also Wakkanai which is at the most northern tip of Japan with much Russian influence.
